Výzkum metod detekce výskytu ovládacích (řídicích) vodičů (CW Command Wire) používaných pro dálkovou iniciaci improvizovaných výbušných zařízení s předpokladem aplikace detekčního systému na pozemní průzkumný prostředek. Navržená metoda bude ověřena na realizovaném funkčním vzoru detekčního systému, přičemž budou provedena měření se vzorky ovládacích vodičů v předpokládaných scénářích jejich položení a zapojení. Při řešení projektu budou využity poznatky z činnosti pracovní skupiny NATO STO / SCI-256 Route Detection and Clearance Technologies (2012-2015) a na ní navazující pracovní skupiny.

Project results evaluation
Three functional samples of (1) Frequency, (2) Balanced and (3) Impulse Command Wire detectors were developed and analysed including their testing using various wire samples and other objects not having the character/shape of a wire. The most appropriate type is the Impulse detector, which enables detection of various types of wires determined by their material compositions (Cu, Fe, Al) and adapting the design of search coil system for various carrier platforms, i.e. both the handheld version of the detector and for mounting on a ground reconnaissance device.
