New (sub)microstructured materials utilisable for the destructive sorption and photo catalytic degradation of the Chemical or Biological Warfare Agents present in processing liquids, and water

Project goals

The project is aimed at acquiring basic understandings of the possible utilisation of the photo catalytic active micro structured oxides and/or oxidation species generated by photo sensitizers for the destruction of CW Agents or inactivation of BW Agents. Acquired knowledge is expected to form a common ground for a designing of novel sorption elements usable within procedures of recycling of process waters or other (non-aqueous) process liquids.

    Cílem projektu je získání základních poznatků o možnostech využití principu destrukce otravných a biologických látek na foto katalyticky aktivních mikrostrukturních oxidech anebo v důsledku oxidačního účinku reaktivních částic generovaných foto sensitizátory. Vytvoření předpokladů pro perspektivní využití těchto materiálů jako aktivních komponent sorpčních elementů nové generace v recyklačních jednotkách procesních vod či nevodných kapalin.
