HOJENÍ – Vliv hyperbaroxie na hojení devastujících poranění u zdravých jedinců
Annotation in Czech
Na zvířecím modelu bude studován biologický postup hojení ztrátového poranění. Experiment bude proveden na třech skupinách zvířat: a) bez expozice hyperbaroxie, b) se nižší intenzitou expozice hyperbaroxie, c) s vysokou expozicí hyperbaroxie. Nálezy budou meziskupinově porovnány histologickou analýzou a vyšetřením genové exprese (microarrayí). Tyto metody poskytují informace o procesech na buněčné a molekulární úrovni k posouzení biologického procesu hojení.

Project results evaluation
The planned tasks have been met. An animal model tolerated hyperbaric exposures without complications. A total of 48 hyperbarox exposures were performed. 36 female animals were used in the project. From the point of view of macroscopic evaluation, the dynamics of the healing process was significantly improved compared to the control group. There was no statistically significant difference in the healing dynamics between HBO exposure regimens when comparing treatment groups. Individuals showed no clinical signs of infection, so microbiological examination of wound swabs was not performed. Results from histological and immunohistochemical evaluation did not show that HBO applied once or twice a day affected the rate of wound healing on the back of healthy rabbits. Molecular analysis of the work followed the effect of HBO on the change in expression of the genes of interest associated with the wound healing process. There were no significant differences in gene expression trends.
