Project results evaluation
The outcomes of the project included mapping the current use of expert and specialist assessments within the Czech Ministry of Defence’s procurement process, including an overview of foreign best practices. Based on this analysis, a feasibility study was prepared on establishing an expert institute within the Ministry of Defence as a basis for the leadership’s decision on next steps and to provide the necessary groundwork for an informed choice. In accordance with the project brief, a proposal for the Czech Armed Forces’ “Valuation of Combat Equipment and Military Arms” standard operating procedure was also drafted, subjected to internal departmental review, and all comments were resolved. Additionally, a modular curriculum proposal was developed for training activities under Decree No. 505/2020 Coll., in the field of “Economics,” specialization “Valuation of Combat Equipment and Military Arms.” All materials produced were handed over to the user of the result.
