Development of advanced breeding materials with horizontal resistance genes to late blight.

Project goals

The aim of this project is the development of advanced breeding materials in form of isogenic lines for potato breeding with higher level of horizontal resistance to late blight. Genetic stabilization will be performed by means of common breeding procedures and transformation to haploid ploidy level with subsequent duplication of chromosome set to the tetraploid level.
