Inovation of the metods of the protection of sunflower
Project goals
Project covers following problems of the protection of sunflower int he Czech republic: Screening of the incidence of races of Plasmopara halstedii in the Czech republic. For the effective use of resistant hybrids iit is inevitable to know the races existing in our country. 2) For the effective aplication of fungicides it is inevitable to know the proces of growing of the most important pathogen Sclerotinia sclerotiorum into the stem. It will be studied with PCR. 3) We will propose the system of weed regulationin the sunflower with the aim to decrease the costs and undesired effects on the nature. 4)We will study the possibillities of the stem shortening by regulators and its effectiveness in the sunflower growing. 5) Problems of the wilting and premature ripenning caused by abiotic factors and infectious agents will be studied with the respect of the possible control methods.
