Low-cost soil-protecting technology for production of preservered vegetable biomass as a raw material for biogas production on the base of fodder crops cultivation.
Project goals
The aim of the project is an elaboration of complex low-cost soil-protecting technology for production of preservered vegetable biomass as a raw material for biogas production. The complex technology will contain recommendations for cultivation, fertilization and harvesting of the mostly efficient conventional or non-traditional fodder crops, selected during project solution. Furthermore, it will contain the instruction for processing, preservation, storage and usage of vegetable biomass. The use of this technology will assure at least two times lower prime cost in comparison with conventional production and using of maize silage, whereas biogas yields, especially methane yields, will be on comparable and technologically suitable level. The research will above all be intented on influence of properties of separate crops and different agricultural engineering of their cultivation on total methane yield. The fertilization system will in preference be oriented on return waste utilization out of biogas pr
