Research and development of standard methodic procedures of recovering of fruit trees and grapevinesby chemotherapy of in vitro cultures for certification system of healthy status of planting material.
Project goals
Work out original methods and methodic procedures of recovering of sweet cherry, peach, apricot, and grapevine cultivars from viruses, phytoplasmas, and quarantine pathogens using chemotherapy. Discover effect of at least two chemical substances with potential antivirotic properties, which were not tested on fruit trees and grapevines in the Czech Republic. The effect of these substances will be compared with effect of ribavirin as a standard. The result of recovering of fruit tree and grapevine cultivars, in vitro cultures, and in vivo trees after the therapy during the ending three years project QH91153 will be verified. At least 9 pathogene free cultivars of fruit trees and 3 cultivars of grapevines will be included into the system of certification of healthy status of planting material, as a material output of project.

Účinnost těchto látek bude srovnána se standardním antivirotikem ribavirin. Ověřit výsledek ozdravení odrůd ovocných dřevin a révy vinné po ozdravení in vitro kultur a in vivo stromů po ozdravovacích terapiích z končícího tříletého projektu QH91153. Předat do systému certifikace zdravotního stavu výsadbového materiálu ovocných dřevin a révy vinné nejméně 9 patogenů prostých odrůd ovocných dřevin 3 odrůdy révy vinné jako hmotné výstupy projektu.

Project results evaluation
The project solution ran according to the original plan, all the activities were carried out and all the results were realised. The final recovery of varieties of cherries, peaches, apricots and vines from viruses was verified by phytoplasma and from quarantine pathogens by chemotherapy.
