Completed project evaluation

V - Vynikající výsledky projektu (s mezinárodním významem atd.)

  • Project results evaluation

The project was very thoroughly focused on aquaculture in relation to various aspects (fish production, fish health and welfare, technology, food safety, fish keeping management, water quality, nutritional balance, sustainability, etc.). The project addressed a very hot topic - increasing fish production in aquaculture systems in relation to the environment. Increasing fish production is one of the key goals of the Multiannual National Strategic Plan for Acquaculture. The project results bring highly valuable information regarding possibilities of increasing fish production in special fish farming facilities, namely with respect to the aforementioned aspects. Moreover, some project results have been positively translated in the Czech pond management. I particularly appreciate that the theoretical results of the project have a practical impact on practice - e.g. creation of methodologies, patent, utility model.
