Optimization of technology sunflower protection according to integration production
Project goals
Aim of this project is optimization of current and new introduction technology used at sunflower protection, with accent to economical profitability, produce quality and minimisation of environmental and growing risks. There were created instructions and recommendations for sunflower growers, which were in full according to compliance of integration production. Project team is very erudite, which interest of problematic of growing and protection sunflower in Czech Republic over a long period and results of research provided to growers annually.

Cílem projektu je optimalizovat současné i nově zaváděné technologie ochrany slunečnice s důrazem na rentabilitu pěstování, kvalitu produkce a minimalizovat pěstitelská a environmentální rizika. Budou vytvořeny návody a doporučení pěstitelům slunečnice, které budou v souladu se zásadami integrované produkce a ochranou včel a dalších opylovačů. Projektu se účastní vysoce kompetentní tým, který se problematice ochrany slunečnice v ČR dlouhodobě věnuje a výsledky výzkumu každoročně poskytuje pěstitelům.

Project results evaluation
The investigation of the project took 4 years. In the project 7 objectives were set out, of which in 2017 altogether 4 objectives were achieved. In 2018, the remaining 3 objectives were accomplished. In the course of investigation all the planned results were achieved. The project proposal reckoned with 6 publication results throughout the period of investigation and during the investigation period (2016 to 2018) the team of investigators dedicated to this project published a total of 46 results. The Ost type results were largely published in journals for professional public and farmers. Altogether 2 presentations were delivered at international conferences. At the end of the investigation, in November 2018, a conference called "Sun flower production system" was held as a part of the project, where the achieved results were presented to sun flower growers and both the certified methodologies were distributed.
