Nové spolehlivé metody pro rutinní rozlišení kmenů a predikci rizik vzniku a šíření nákazy původce moru včelího plodu (Paenibacillus larvae)

Cílem projektu je přispět novými komplexními prvky do systému prevence ztrát a profylaxe včely medonosné, která je ještě více než včelími produkty důležitá pro fungování ekosystémů závislých na zemědělství a lesnictví, zachování biodiversity a rostlinnou produkci. Dílčí cíle: (i) implementace metod molekulární biologie pro analýzu včelařských matric na patogena P. larvae; (ii) vývoj postupů pro izolaci, charakterizaci, genetické porovnání (PCR, qPCR, proteomika) a konečně detekci kmenů P. larvae. Výsledky poslouží pro screenování lokalit na výskyt a predikci vzniku onemocnění. Správné a spolehlivé určení virulence P. larvae je kriticky důležité pro určení rizik nákazy. Projekt také přispěje k odbornému rozvoji rezortních výzkumných pracovišť a podpoření excelence zemědělského výzkumu.

Project results evaluation
This multi-year research task proceeded in a very smooth and exemplary manner, with the exception of the period marked by the effects of the Covid pandemic and the modernization of equipment, particularly the delays in the commissioning of that equipment during staff shortages caused by illness or quarantine, which resulted in the postponement of deadlines for the supplementation of several missing results ( V4, V6, V8 and V9) even after 31 December 2021. The results obtained are very high quality, top class in national and international terms. The measure of success in this country is undoubtedly the ever-increasing number of views of the Czech version of the website, which has already had 12,630 views. The researcher repeatedly requested that the deadlines for the supplementation of the missing results be postponed. The request for change was granted in a letter dated 9 June 2022, Ref. MZE-36687/2022-13132
