Zakládání a výchova směsí přípravných a cílových dřevin plnících produkční a mimoprodukční funkce lesa v oblasti velkoplošně hynoucích smrkových porostů

Hlavním cílem projektu bude stanovit efektivní postupy pro obnovou porostů s dominancí smrku v oblastech jeho intenzívního velkoplošného hynutí s využitím přípravných i cílových dřevin tak, aby následné porosty byly dostatečně diferencované, měly vysokou míru stability a dokázaly tak plnit produkční i mimoprodukční funkce v měnících se podmínkách prostředí. Dílčími cíli bude ověření metod zakládání porostů přípravných dřevin a vnášení cílových dřevin v rámci dvoufázové obnovy v rapidně odumírajících porostech, zakládání porostních směsí včetně využití přípravných dřevin a optimalizace výchovných zásahů v těchto porostech vedoucí k zvýšení jejich stability, včetně hodnocení ekonomické efektivity postupů. Cílem postupů bude také udržení dílčího podílu smrku ztepilého v těchto porostech.

Project results evaluation
In 2022, 3 planned activities were completed: 1. Measurement of growth parameters in long-term research areas in relation to planting interventions and processing of results, where detailed measurements of parameters of stands classified with different variants were completed. The results are interpreted both descriptively and graphically. 2. Evaluation of direct cost analyses of different artificial and combined reforestation practices using preparatory tree species. As a result, detailed evaluations of the economic benefits of using different artificial or combined reforestation techniques are carried out. Financial values were calculated and modelled according to actual costs. 3. Assessment of ecological conditions in forest restoration and pruning using preparatory tree species. Individual activities were a continuation of the work in previous years and aimed at fulfilling the objectives set for this project.
