Project results evaluation
During the course of the four-year project a total of 12 working models, 3 Jimp-type articles published in high IF journals and 1 result were accepted in the form of an international patent. Another patent is in the application stage and is thus included as a type O result. According to the draft project, the planned Zplem result was replaced during the course of the project by a type P result due to the factual impossibility of creating a new breed of poultry, but a specific hybrid, which the draft project did not take into account. Transgenic operations can be used to create a new line within breeds, which in this case also resulted in a change in the genome. This therefore does not mean that the planned assignment was not fulfilled, but the form of the result lies in the creation of a new line resistant to certain virus infections, which can be classed as a type P result, which is entirely acceptable for meeting the objective.
