Project results evaluation
The planned outputs were achieved. A total of 16 mandatory results were planned, of which fifteen were achieved as planned, 1 (Jimp) result was submitted for publication in PlosOne journal with a delay, upon the approval of the grant provider. Functional samples (2) will facilitate practical application of the results obtained and together with the workshops held (5) and articles published in Czech user-oriented periodicals (3) provide high potential for commercialisation of the project results. The results are easily applicable in practice, particularly the Gfunk type results, the EPN and EPF-based biological products for the protection of potatoes against the Colorado potato beetle and its larvae, and the integrated potato protection methodology (NmetS). Nowadays, when the chemical pesticides are getting phased out and resistance to these substances is increasing, a considerable demand of the public for biological products can be anticipated.
