Předložený projekt se zaměřuje na výzkum a vývoj optimalizačních nástrojů zaměřených především na úlohu plánování nasazování energetických zdrojů. Navržený software bude řešit úlohy nasazování energetických zdrojů až s ročním horizontem optimalizace a hodinovou granularitou dat. Kromě nalezeného optimálního (suboptimálního) řešení bude poskytovat informaci o míře rizika spojeného s nasazením podle navrženého řešení podle metodiky Value at Risk.
