Cílem projektu je zkoumat dopady vojenského převratu v Egyptě na celkovou deziluzi umírněných sunnitských islamistických hnutí v arabském světě orientujících se na ideologii a činnost Muslimského bratrstva (Tunisko, Maroko, Irák, Sýrie, Jordánsko, Palestina, aj.) způsobenou nevírou v možnou a udržitelnou participaci umírněných islamistických stran v systému parlamentní demokracie. Tato nevíra je posilována postojem egyptského nacionalistického režimu odmítajícího důrazně spolupráci s hlavním islamistickým proudem a rovněž i nástupem radikálních salafistických hnutí odmítajících razantně jakoukoli kulturně-politickou modernizaci západního střihu.

Project results evaluation
The Commission draws the attention of the recipient to the obligation to report as soon as technically possible the required and achieved results to the RIV. In the case of any publications related to this project, it is necessary to have the consent of the owner of the result. Any unsolicited results by the Provider (ie results not listed in the enumeration of the Grant Agreement) can not be applied in IS VAVAI. In formulating its recommendations, the Commission relied on the opponent's opinions and the opinion of the representative of the expert. The Ministry of Foreign Affairs is ready to take over the results of the project. The Commission recommends the administrative closure of the project.
