Project name in Czech
Stanovení distribuce farmakologicky aktivních látek a jejich biologická degradace v rámci procesů čištění odpadních vod
Annotation in Czech
Hlavním cílem projektu je vývoj technologie biologické degradace vybraných, jiným způsobem těžko odbouratelných, farmakologicky aktivních látek (FAL) (diklofenak, ibuprofen, ketoprofen, sulfometaxazol) v odpadních vodách během jejich úpravy v čistírnách odpadních vod (ČOV). Dílčí cíle: 1. vývoj analytických postupů pro stanovení různých forem FAL 2. bilance distribuce FAL na průchodu procesy ČOV 3. volba vhodné strategie záchytu a degradace 4. charakterizace existujícího bakt. kmene schopného degradace vybraných FAL; vyhledání a testování alternativních kandidátů 6. charakterizace degradačních procesů ve vodě a aktivovaném kalu s využitím bakt. degradéra a bez něj - laboratorní podmínky 7. ověření technologie na poloprovozním modelu ČOV, stanovení technol. a ekon. parametrů

Project results evaluation
All planned results were achieved according to the binding parameters of the project solution. The solution of the project contributed to the fulfillment of the goal of the program with quickly applicable new and original results. The achieved results have a high social benefit. The results of the project are valuable thanks to the development of procedures to modify the bacterial composition of activated sludge. The set goals - elimination of drugs from wastewater by microbial culture was achieved by up to 68% in the case of diclofenac. The cooperation of research entities (cooperation of companies and research institutes), as well as the focus of the project, can be evaluated extremely highly. The focus of the project is extremely important in terms of protection of the aquatic environment and the impact of pharmacologically active substances on biota.
