Obranná opatření proti lýkožroutu severskému
Annotation in Czech
Doplnit znalosti a metody managementu nového kalamitního škůdce v ČR, l. severského. Ověřit nová obranná opatření – stojící otrávené lapáky připravené povrchovým postřikem a mikroinjektáží insekticidu z pohledu efektivity i dopadu na necílové druhy. Objasnit podíl l. severského na kůrovcových těžbách jako pomocný rozhodovací nástroj k posouzení vlivu a početnosti škůdce. Zpřesnit výpočet obraných opatření z kalamitního základu v podmínkách měnícího se klimatu, zdravotního stavu i podkorní fauny smrku. Výstupem budou nové postupy managementu l. severského a úprava stávajících postupů pro podmínky klimatické změny.

Project results evaluation
The Board of Opponents agreed that the assignment was not fulfilled due to the failure to achieve all the declared results, but the Contract was complied with. The result V2 of the NmetC type entitled Standing Poisoned Bait Traps - Methodology was not achieved. The reason for not achieving it was that the natural conditions in both monitored years were incomparable. The obtained results could not be reported in the methodology with general validity and sufficient novelty. The goals of the project were met. All planned activities were carried out. The experiment concerning diapause development in the northern leopard in the field and in the pits can be evaluated very well. The problem was that the researcher did not sufficiently describe in the Final Report why the V2 result was not achieved, which is also pointed out by the opponent. During the Final Opposition Proceedings, all questions of the members of the Opposition Committee were answered.
