Cílem Národního centra pro energetiku (NCE) je stimulace dlouhodobé spolupráce mezi předními výzkumnými organizacemi a hlavními aplikačními subjekty na trhu v oboru energetiky. Dojde ke sdílení unikátních infrastruktur a know-how odborných týmů stávajících výzkumných center prostřednictvím řešení společných projektů aplikovaného výzkumu. Výzkumná agenda NCE je v souladu s Národní RIS3 strategií a je zaměřena na nové technologie vedoucích ke zvýšení účinnosti, bezpečnosti a spolehlivosti stávajících energetických celků, účinnému nasazení a provozu decentralizovaných zdrojů energie, využití alternativních paliv pro zajištění surovinové nezávislosti a energetické soběstačnosti ČR a zvýšení spolehlivosti a bezpečnosti energetických sítí.

Project results evaluation
The Commission notes that the Project succeeded according to the assignment, the solution of some sub-projects contributed to the objectives of the program with new and original results which, thanks to the direct participation of industrial application guarantors, are suitable for immediate implementation. The sub-projects achieved the planned results in accordance with the terms of the Support Agreement and in some cases these planned results were exceeded. The potential for commercialization, which was already proven at the time of solving some sub-projects and which is open to wider industrial applications of the achieved results and outputs in the near future, is evaluated very positively. The opposition committee appreciates the setting of high-quality cooperation and coordination of cooperation between individual partners and the management of the center itself.
