Project results evaluation
The project task was to prepare a feasibility study that will evaluate the potential of a new technical solution that consists of applying artificial intelligence in evaluating Mössbauer spectra in the quality control of iron-containing products from various industries. It has been proven that innovation in Mössbauer spectroscopy through AIMEE (Artificial Intelligence Mössbauer Effect Evaluator) has the potential to change the way materials analysis is approached. The main breakthrough lies in the ability of AIMEE to simplify the interpretation of complex data. By automating the analytical process, this sophisticated method becomes available even to industries that previously considered it too technically demanding or expensive. It finds practical use in key areas such as corrosion detection, quality control and material integrity assessment. The feasibility study was submitted in sufficient quality and the evaluated project thus fulfilled its assignment.
