A long-term propagation experiment at 19 GHz and V polarisation on 27.3 km long path was started in April 1995. The investigation was focused on attenuation due to hydrometeors (rain, hail, snow). The measured data from the 5-year period of observation were statistically processed. The obtained cumulative time distributions of attenuation due to hydrometeors as well as the cumulative time distributions of rain intensities were also compared with the cumulative distributions calculated in accordance withthe corresponding ITU-R Recommendations

Czech description
Dlouhodobý experimentální průzkum v kmitočtovém pásmu 19 GHz na V polarizaci na 27.3 km dlouhém skoku byl zahájen v dubnu 1995. Průzkum byl zaměřen na útlum hydrometeory (déšť, kroupy, sníh). Naměřená data během 5letého období pozorování byla statistickyzpracována. Získané kumulativní distribuce intenzit dešťů byly také porovnány s kumulativními distribucemi vypočtenými podle odpovídajících doporučení ITU-R.
