NEW METHODS, instrumentation and ideas FOR ANALYSIS AND MICROSCOPY IN FORENSIC SCIENCE in Prague, 19 - 20 November 2018 MEETING VENUE SPIRITKA – representative establishment of the Ministry of Interior of the CR Address: Atletická 2352/11, Prague 6 CONFERENCE PROGRAM Conference is traditionally organized for specialists, who are interested in news in forensic science field and material science. Suggested topic of the meeting – news in: · Scanning electron microscopy and focused ion beam technology · Hyperspectral imaging · Spectroscopy method · 3D imaging in forensic science · Forensic analyses of Works of Art · Forensic antrolopology · Forensic shoeprint investigation (trasology) · Infrared mapping and imaging · Optical microscopy and Image analysis · Particle analyses, 3D imaging, measurement and recontruction · Forensic ballistics, bioballistics and related fields · Forensic analysis of handwriting, authenticity verification of means of payments and stamps, technical examination of documents and paper · etc. The conference is among abundance of actions with forensic themes somewhat exceptional, because unlike a wide range of other actions, for example organized by ENFSI groups, it is not only aimed at a specific field covering traces, but the conference also deals with an array of new techniques, procedures and innovations that are currently gaining ground in forensic science or which are believed to assert themselves there. The idea of the conference was conceived at the ENFSI meetings of working groups and workshops and European NITECRIME group based on the favourable response of previous years of this conference. It lies in the possibility of meeting the experts from various fields of forensic science who lack opportunities to be familiarized with modern applications in other specializations. Conferences with similar topics held so far are always very closely specified and conferences focused on methods, not objects of examinations, are very rare. A forum as the venue for meetings of forensic specialists and for holding discussions on methods have not been frequent so far.
