Original language description

This work presents a set of four open environment experimental measurements on burning of sedan type passenger cars typically used in Europe. All cars were of the same type and brand, manufactured in 2014. Two cars were gasoline-fueled, two cars were diesel-fueled. One accidental and three deliberate causes of fire were mimicked. Temperature evolution, fire spread dynamics and the traces on the car body after the fire were studied.
