Original language description
Fire Rescue service officers responsible for fire investigation work on cases of vehicles fires on a daily basis. However, when a vehicle fire occurs without an eye witness, it is extremely difficult to investigate the origin of the fire and its cause. Technical Institute of Fire Protections has been developing a methodology of reading the fire traces and patterns on the car body in order to determine the origin of the fire since 2017 and was granted a financial support for the research from the Ministry of Interior Safety research programme under the number VI20172019065. The paper presents an e-learning training for fire investigators developed as an outcome of the project to help them address an issue of the vehicle fires investigation.
