    The poster is focused on presenting tactical procedures of the Fire and Rescue Service of the Czech Republic (FRS CR) for responding to a fire in an fully battery-electric vehicle (BEV) or a hybrid vehicle (HEV). The poster will be divided into three main parts. In the first part, the potential causes of battery damage as well as battery damage leading to a fire will be introduced. The second part of the poster will deal with the identification of the car as an electric vehicle or a hybrid vehicle because it is a very important step for determining intervention tactics. Different identification methods of BEVs/HEVs will be described. The third part is the main part. It will describe tactical procedures used by the FRS CR that were confirmed by practice as a quick and effective intervention method.
