The influence of air humidity in high-speed aerodynamics in turbomachinery applications.
Original language description
This contribution deals with a study of air humidity influence in high-speed aerodynamics of turbine cascades. The research was done at VZLU ? High-speed aerodynamics laboratory ? in a facility determined for 2D turbomachinery experiments. Detailed traversing with aerodynamic probe at the outlet of the cascade was the main tool in the investigation. Schlieren visualization was also used to capture the overview of the flow field in passages. Data analyses outputs create a ground for improvements of precision of experimental research. A definition of new requirements on high-speed aerodynamics experiments is also mentioned and discussed.
