On the development of short axial lenght turbine stator with outlet Mach number 2
Original language description
This article desribed the development of short axial length steam turbine stator with nominal outlet Mach number equal to 2. Shortening of existing stator geometry was the main goal in order to improve rotor dynamic behaviors. The stator inlet angle appreciably differs in a real machine, therefore it was very important to ensure insensitivity to the inlet angle in a wide range of it. Technological simplicity was also followed to decrease production costs.
