    Effect of strain rate on the final microstructure of Ti-6Al-4V alloy at higher temperatures

    This paper presents the results of the metallography analyses and the tensile tests of the Ti-6Al-4V alloy performed at different strain rates and test temperatures. The effect of these parameters on the final microstructure of the material, used for asymmetrical incremental sheet forming, was assessed. Three strain rate levels in the range of 10-3 to 10-1 s-1 were studied and the microstructure analyses were performed in several areas of the tensile test specimens.
