Fast Transient Process Simulation
Original language description
Machine components are often loaded by dynamic, high-gradient forces. Such impulsive loading is generally very dangerous since it can initiate sudden failure of material which would not occur during the static loading. In order to ensure safe design standards in crashworthiness, mostly for automobiles or related components, such ?crash? loading has to be properly applied on test article by its testing. On this account, a test facility equipped with an electro-hydraulic test system was built up in the Strength of Structures Department of VZLU, which allows the fast transient process simulation, such as crash loading on real industrial test articles.
