NUMERICAL SIMULATION OF THE FLOW AROUND DIFFUSIBLE BARRIERS
Original language description
We work with the system of equations describing the non-stationary compressible fluid flow, and we focus on the numerical solution of these equations, and on the boundary conditions. In order to construct the boundary conditions we analyze the equationsin the close vicinity of the boundary. Many boundary conditions (i.e. fixed, linearized) do not solve the local problem in an appropriate way, which may bring non-physical errors into the solution, slow down the convergent process, or even ruin the solution in the whole domain. We use the analysis of the exact solution of the Riemann problem in order to solve this local boundary problem. In the case of the diffusible barrier we solve the modified Riemann problem, with the one-side initial condition, complemented with the Darcy's law and added inertial loss. We analyze the solution of this problem. We show the computational results of the flow through the diffusible barrier, obtained with the own-developed code for the solution of the co
