Presented paper discusses utilization of a Fuzzy theory implemented to the risk assessment analysis FMECA. The procedure of the Fuzzy FMECA is described in a detail and a practical application of this method is shown on a specific example. The Fuzzy FMECA method is convenient to use when the failure rate data are not available and when we rely only on an expert?s opinion or engineering judgment.
