Comparison of various laminar/turbulent transition models

  • Original language description

The article deals with modification of the algebraic model of the bypass transition for modelling of the transition at low free-stream turbulence. Further, the three-equation k-kL-? model and the Xfoil program were used for the comparison. All models were tested by means of the incompressible flow around the flat plate and symmetrical airfoils at moderate and very low free-stream turbulence.
