Influence of inlet nozzle on secondary flow in axial stator blade cascade
Original language description
Abstract This paper deals with numerical modelling of a turbulent compressible flow through an axial stator blade cascade. An attention is paid to the influence of the geometry of the inlet nozzle on the secondary flows in the blade cascade. The flow-field is divided on two parts: inlet nozzle, where a model of a 2D axisymmetric flow is used and the blade cascade, which is solved by a model of a fully 3D flow. The connection of the 2D axisymmetric model and the fully 3D model is proposed in this work.
