Original language description
The performace of an impacted carbon fibre-reinforced polymer(CFRP) in a shear is presented. Finite element anylysis (FEA) of the impact and subseguent shear loading was performed. Ply-by-ply method of composite modelling in conjuction with cohesive zone technique was utilized. Good match of delaminated area in comparison with test is obtained. The higher shear capability of non-impacted panel that impacted is numerically predicted.
