    Design of multiplexer for electrical impedance tomography

  • Original language description

    Electrical impedance tomography is a relatively new method in the field of structural health monitoring and non-destructive testing area. The electrical resistance tomography is a non-intrusive method enabling mapping of the spatial distribution of electrical conductivity of the monitored object. This paper describes the development of the multiplexer, which is one of the essential parts of the impedance tomography system. Frequency bandwidth, off isolation, and channel-to-channel cross talks are verified in the supposed frequency range. Basic multiplexer functionality is demonstrated on an image reconstruction of a carbon fiber reinforced polymer composite coupon damaged by an impact.
