Methodology for prediction of stiffness reduction of composite structures under fatigue loading

  • Original language description

The main objective of this paper is to present proposed methodology for estimation of stiffness reduction of composite structures subjected to fatigue loading. Proposed methodology is phenomenologically based and describes stiffness loss on the level of individual layers of composite. The proposal of this methodology was divided into several key points such as the proposal of setup for measurement of mechanical properties degradation or the proposal of stiffness degradation model and its implementation to FE code.
