"device consists of these two main parts: • Sphere (Part “A”) Contains two components which are screwed together. Testing apparatus, balancing elements and necessary control electronics are located in the optimal positions inside the completed Sphere. • Spherical Bed (Part “B”) Spherical Bed is a solid base equipped with pneumatical elements for a thin air film generation and for the Sphere carrying. Main principle is a free motion simulation of the Sphere using the thin air film between the Sphere and the Spherical Bed. Using of the air film for buoyancy and the Sphere carrying provides a relatively small mechanical resistance for a spherical motion of the Sphere.
