The chapter presents results of 10-year ground-level ozone monitoring over the Czech Republic. Daily and seasonal variability of concentrations and trends for the different types of stations are presented. The data set is analyzed for the exceedances of24-h mean concentration of 65 ?g.m-3 (a threshold for vegetation protection) and exceedances of 8-h mean concentration of 120 ?g.m-3 (a limit value for human health protection). The experience with passive samplers used for ozone measurements in mountainous-forested areas and suitability of the method for ecology research is also discussed.
