Evaluation of flow series on the rivers Smědá and Mohelka with regard to any impact of existing climate change
Original language description
The run-off is the best measured element of hydrological balance, therefore, it can be advantageously used to validate or deny speculation of hydrological regime changes and that of flood and droughts situations increase, both in occurences and rates. The task was focused on what the data from the Smědá and Mohelka basins will say us about flow regime changes in the last 50 decades. After the analysis of measured data from multiple sites in these rivers, only the data from water level stations with long-term observation and of about the same catchment areas for the study have been used. The annual, seasonal and monthly flow rates and their distribution were analysed and observed maximum and minimum annual discharges and their seasonality, too.
