The workshop focused on processes which drive the structure of deep convective storms. Theoretical presentations were given in five lessons by Prof. Pao K. Wang from the University of Wisconsin-Madison. These lectures were complemented by several other presentations, addressing namely the appearance of convective storms in satellite imagery, but also some other aspects related to deep convection, given by several other lecturers.
