FENOLOGICKÁ A AEROBIOLOGICKÁ ANALÝZA VLIVU METEOROLOGICKÝCH PODMÍNEK NA PYLOVOU SEZONU BŘÍZY BĚLOKORÉ
Original language description
Phenological and aerobiological analysis of impact of meteorological conditions on the silver birch pollen season. Pollen allergy is a serious problem worldwide, estimated to affect, in Europe alone, up to 40% of the population. Pollen allergies arelinked to the period of flowering plants. Phenology and aerobiology are sciences that are very close to each other and partially overlap. In this study, phenological, aerobiological and meteorological data have been used to interpret the influence of wea-ther on the birch pollen season in the Ústí nad Labem district in period 2015–2019. The aim of this paper has been to analyse relation between the birch pollen concentration (aerobiological data), birch beginning and end of flowering (phenological data)and meteorological elements. The particular tasks were aiming to: (1) evaluate duration of main and minor birch pollen season according to aerobiological and phenological data; (2) evaluate statistical characteristics of meteorological elements during the birch pollen season; (3) evaluate Pearson’s correlation coefficient (PCC) between pollen season and meteorological elements. The highest PCC have been found between the pollen season duration and temperature, especially the maximum, minimum and mean air temperature, and sums of effective temperature as well.
