Measurements at rural background are representative of a wider area important for investigating the influence of regional and long-range transport as well as long- term trends in PM concentrations (Putaud et al., 2010; Schwarz et al., 2016; Poulain et al., 2020). This work aims to assess the non-refractory PM1 (NR-PM1) based on chemically speciated mass size distribution, density, and origin during summer and winter intensive campaigns at a rural background site in the Czech Republic.
