Influence of air mass origin on the aerosol concentration in the Czech Ultrafine Aerosol Network

Aerosol concentrations measured at a given location are not only the result of local factors effects (e.g. air pollution, meteorological conditions) but are also affected by the properties of air masses with different origins (Colbeck and Lazaridis, 2010; López et al., 2019; Wonaschütz et al., 2015). Since the Ultrafine Aerosol Network (UAN) in the Czech Republic is now in regular operation, the air masses influence on particle number size distribution (PNSD) was evaluated. This study namely aims to investigate whether local sources dominate over long-range transport.
