The article presents the results of climatological monitoring on two experimental sites, one belonging to the Czech Hydrometeorological Institute (CHMI) at an elevation of 855 m A.S.L., and the other to the Forestry and Game Management Research Institute(FGMRI) at an elevation of 960 m A.S.L., (representing localities of a high-situated mountain valley and mountain ridge), and the selected knowledge about the damage to forest trees by climatic stresses. From the results of the investigation it is obvious, that the occurrence of late frosts in spring and in summer, dry periods, high snow cover and disproportions between soil and air humidity have a negative influence on the regeneration and development of forest stands..

Czech description

Příspěvek uvádí výsledky klimatologického monitoringu v Jizerských horách na dvou lokalitách reprezentujících horské údolí a horský hřeben, a zkušenosti s poškozením lesních dřevin mikroklimatickými stresy. Údolní lokalita leží v nadmořské výšce 855 m aklima zde monitoruje ČHMÚ, pobočka Jablonec n. Nisou, na hřebenové lokalitě v nadmořské výšce 960 m provádí klimatologická šetření VÚLHM Výzkumná stanice v Opočně. Z výsledků je zřejmý negativní vliv pozdních mrazů, suchých období, vysoké vrstvy sněhu adisproporcí mezi půdní a vzdušnou vlhkostí na obnovu lesa a vývoj lesních porostů.
