Original language description
In spite of the large number of pathogen species found on the white pine, their effect on population dynamics of the species is low. Only one species (Meloderma desmazieresii) could be a serious pest for the white pine in the region. Other infections mayreduce health of the trees, but do not seem to be a major agent of tree death in the region.

Czech description
I přes rozsáhlé spektrum patogenů na vejmutovce jejich vliv na populační dynamiku hostitele je nízký. Pouze druh (Meloderma desmazieresii) může být významným patogenem.
