Original language description
Experimental series Mělník I and II were founded in forest region 17 ? the Polabí Lowland in 1962 in 45-year-old Scots pine stands. Growth characteristics are measured in five-year interval on each variant. In 2008 (at the age of 81 years), we analysed forest-floor characteristics under observed stands. Presented paper is oriented on evaluation of basal area development and forest-floor status after 46-year period of observation. The results from basal area evaluation showed that differences between variants on both experiments were 20% at most at the end of observation. Consequently er observed no significant differences between variants in the case of dry-mass amount accumulated in humus horizons under scots pine stands 46 years after start of thinning.
