Original language description
The main objective of presented study is focused on long-term effect of silviculture measures (high thinning and low thinning) on stability of mature Norway spruce monocultures in the Western Carpathians. We specified hypothesis that silvicultural measures (thinning) can support spruce stand stability and conversion of these stands is consequently less risky.
