Original language description
Stand characteristics of an uneven-aged mixed stand from natural regeneration were repeatedly evaluated during 1960–2018 period. Proportion and growth of species changed, both species reacted differently on stand thinning and air pollution. Individual mixture gradually changed to aggregated distribution in the main canopy. Canopy opening initiated natural regeneration; fir regeneration was positively correlated with spruce over-storey shelter when spruce regeneration positively correlated with fir over-storey shelter.
