The conference contribution presented the growth dynamics of larch and its production potential in an area affected by a bark beetle outbreak, where mature larches are now often found as individual reserve trees on calamity clear-cuts. The results indicate that, on fertile sites, larch is among the economically valuable tree species with high productive potential up to the age of 200 years.
