Balance Studies of the Czech Rivers - Bílina and Lužnice

Original language description

Balance studies of the Czech Rivers Bílina and Lužnice compare discharged pollution data from point pollution sources with pollution quantity carried by the rivers, calculated from qualitative analyses and river flow data. The data presented here enablean assessment of the effect of point pollution sources on the Bílina, with industrial river basin management, and the Lužnice basin with dominat agricultural character and intensive fishpond cultivation. The quantity of discharged pollution decreased inboth rivers in the years 1997 to 2004. Decreasing point pollution sources, mainly in the Bílina River has resulted in the decrease of several indicators pollution in the final river profile in the city Ústí nad Labem. On the other hand, in the Lužnice River, where fish management affects water quality, the quantity of pollution in the final profile named Klenovice near the town Soběslav fluctuates yearly without a significant trend.

Bilanční studie českých řek Bíliny a Lužnice srovnává data z bodových zdrojů znečištění s množstvím znečištěním neseného řekami, kalkulované z jakosti vody a dat průtoku v řece. Data umožňují srovnání efektu znečištění z průmyslových zdrojů znečištění naBílině a znečištění v povodí Lužnice pocházející především ze zemědělství a intenzivním obhospodařováním rybničních oblastí. Množství vypuštěného znečištění klesá v obou řekách od roku 1997 do 2004. Pokles znečištění z bodových zdrojů je výsledkem poklesu některých ukazatelů v uzávěrovém profilu města Ústí nad Labem. Na druhou stranu v povodí Lužnice, kde intenzivní obhospodařování rybníků ovlivňuje jakost vody, množství znečištění v koncovém profilu nazvaném Klenovice blízko města Soběslav osciluje každý rok bez jednoznačného trendu.
